I am Jem, a Kiwi who spent 18 months in the UK. This blog is a document of my trip, adventures and the roller coaster ride that was my trip.
A wee bit o'bout me, I am 31 (nearly 32 *gasp*), I am slightly below average height, I always thought that I was average and when people used to tell me I was short I would adamantly deny this. Until I googled the average height for women in New Zealand and found I fall short (see what I did there?) of average by a couple of inches. I sometimes have brown hair unless it is between dyes, I have poo brown eyes, crooked teeth and a cheesy smile.
I tend to see the world a different way to most people and am often described as quirky, unique or weird. I am ok with this. Everyone is weird, they just show it in varying degrees. Plus who wants to be the same as everybody else? If we were all the same the world would be a very dull place.
I love writing, reading, cross stitch knitting and sewing. But I also enjoy being outdoors, walking, exploring, camping and finding adventures. I am a creature of habit but I also get bored if I do the same thing everyday. I like spontaneity but I also enjoy routine. I am a complete contrast of characters. I am a girl however, we are difficult creatures to decipher.
