I started this blog to keep my friends and family that were still back home in New Zealand up to date with my travels and adventures. Not that I kept it up to date very well but I am in the process of that mission at the moment. I do have another blog (here) which is random bits of my writing, thoughts, experiences. I was using this blog for everything but decided it was too messy and didn't really have a theme so I have separated them and have reverted this blog back to its original intentions of being about my travels.
One day I hope to write my own novel or do something with writing so I figured what better way to get out there, to get in the habit of writing (mostly) daily and to practice on people that aren't my ma (who has to like my work) than trying out this blogging business? I would love to be a travel writer. That would be my dream job, here I can pretend that I am one
The name Blue Day Girl came about from a previous blog that I abandoned and I didn't know how to change the name so I have just stuck with it.
